NDIS Employment Support: Offering Pathways into Work
Empowering You to Find Purposeful, Lasting Employment
At Good Company Disability Services, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to access meaningful work opportunities and feel like they are valued members of society. Our NDIS employment support services are here to help people living with a disability prepare for, find, and keep a job they’ll enjoy getting out of bed for.
Whether you’re just starting to think about getting a job or you’ve been looking for a while, our professional team will advise and support you until you find meaningful employment. We will discuss your strengths, goals, interests, and the kind of support you need to succeed. With our help and encouragement, you can build the confidence and skills to take that next step toward employment.
If you’ve been approved to receive financial support through the NDIS programme, you may be able to access disability employment services.
At Good Company, we help you work towards hitting your employment goals and overcoming any barriers you might face when it comes to getting a job. Whether you’re lacking specific skills, don’t have a resume, or you’re worried about how you’ll come across in interviews, you don’t have to resolve these challenges on your own.
Here are some of the things we assist you with through our NDIS employment support:
- Discovering interests and skills that could translate into career opportunities.
- Building skills you can talk about in interviews to demonstrate your proficiency. These could include communication, time management, and teamwork.
- Creating a resume and doing mock interviews to gain practice.
- Finding and applying for jobs within inclusive and accessible workplaces.
- Getting ready for work with supported training.
- Ongoing help and advice once you’ve accepted a job offer.

Yes. We support participants to explore job options that match their abilities and passions. This includes creating resumes, preparing for interviews, and identifying roles in the community that feel meaningful. We walk alongside you from planning and preparation through to settling into work. Securing paid work is not only dependant upon the support you receive, it also depends on other factors such as job availability, any experience or skills you may have, and your level of engagement with employers and the job searching process as a whole.
Employment Assistance helps you get ready to find work — including job search support, applications, and building readiness.

No, you don’t need to have a job yet. We can start working with you to build capacity, confidence, and readiness. Once you start work, our team can continue providing Supports in Employment to help you adjust, stay on track, and grow.
We are an experienced NDIS provider working with plan-managed and self-managed participants in a range of areas including Employment Support. If you’re unsure whether your NDIS plan includes Employment Support, we can help you review it or speak with your plan manager or Support Coordinator. Good Company is an unregistered NDIS provider and we can support participants with NDIS funding that is either plan managed or self managed.
We currently provide support across Perth and Greater Melbourne. Our team can meet you in the community, at home, online, or wherever works best for you.
Yes, you can work while receiving NDIS funding. The NDIS is not means tested, and your personal income and assets are not a consideration when the NDIA is deciding the level of funding you require to cater for your disability related support needs.
Centrelink, part of Services Australia, oversees the Disability Support Pension, so it’s best to get in contact with them to confirm the amount of work you can undertake, or the income you can receive before your DSP is affected. You may be able to earn a specific amount before your DSP is affected, and even if you exceed this level and your DSP is reduced, you still may end up better off financially. We can support you to discuss this with Centrelink as part of the support you receive from us.
