This is Ken's Story
We supported Ken to explore his interests and identify roles that felt meaningful to him. Together, we connected with local businesses and arranged a work placement where Ken could build his confidence and skills. That experience led to paid employment in a role he loves — helping others and making a real difference each day.
“I love working at Coles and helping the customers, it is really nice”

At Good Company, we support people to build confidence, independence and purpose — not just meet NDIS goals. Whether it’s mentoring, self-care, employment, or starting a microenterprise, our team walks alongside you to help you grow in the ways that matter most. Our support is flexible, person-centred, and focused on real outcomes that last. Because what you do with your day — and who you do it with — makes all the difference.

How it Works
1
Say hello
A relaxed phone call about your goals, your interests and how your funding works — then a written quote to look over in your own time. Nothing is locked in and there’s no pressure to decide; we’re happy to talk it through with your family or coordinator too.
2
Your mentor match
Once funding’s confirmed, we match you with a mentor on personality, interests and location — usually within a week. Their profile arrives before you meet, so the first hello already feels familiar.
3
Your regular sessions
Same mentor, regular times, no re-explaining yourself every week. We’ll check in with you regularly — or keep your family, coordinator or support network in the loop instead, whatever works best for you. And you can reach us any time, about anything.

FAQ
Can an unregistered NDIS provider support me?
Yes — if your NDIS plan is self-managed or plan-managed, you can choose any provider you trust, registered or not. Good Company Disability Services currently operates as an unregistered provider, with pricing aligned to the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and all mentors screened and trained. Agency-managed participants can only use registered providers — ask us and we’ll help you check your plan type.
Can the NDIS help me find a job?
Yes — NDIS employment support can fund help with work readiness, finding a role that fits, and support on the job while you settle in. Good Company mentors work alongside you through the whole journey: building skills and confidence, connecting with local employers, and backing you once you’re working — like Ken, who we supported into a role at Coles he loves.
What does a disability support worker do?
A disability support worker helps people with disability live life their way — building everyday skills, getting out into the community, working towards goals and gaining independence. At Good Company we call ours mentors, because the role is relationship-first: the same person each week, matched to your personality and interests, with a profile you receive before you meet.
Can I choose my own support worker?
Yes. Choice and control sit at the heart of the NDIS — you choose your provider and have a real say in who supports you. We match you with a mentor based on personality, interests and location, you’ll see their profile before support starts, and if it’s not the right fit, we’ll rematch you. No awkward conversations required.
How much does support cost, and how do I get started?
Our rates follow the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, and you’ll see every rate in a written quote before support begins — nothing is locked in until you’ve read and signed a service agreement. Getting started is one relaxed phone call about your goals, interests and funding. From there, mentor matching usually takes about a week, depending on your location.
