NDIS Employment Support

Empowering You to Find Purposeful, Lasting Employment

Disability Employment Services Providers

At Good Company Disability Services, we believe employment should be more than a task — it should feel empowering, purposeful, and aligned with your values. Whether you’re looking for your first role, returning to work, or exploring something new, we offer tailored NDIS employment supports designed to help you build confidence and thrive.

We provide NDIS employment support in Perth and Melbourne for people with disability who want help finding and keeping a job. Your mentor works with you one-on-one, from the first conversation about what you’d like to do through to settling into the role. We are an NDIS provider, not an Inclusive Employment Australia (formerly DES) provider, and the two can work together.

Is this the right Support for you?

Employment support suits you if you:

  • want your first job, or are coming back to work after a break
  • have a job that is getting hard to keep
  • want to change direction, add hours or try something new
  • are leaving school and need a bridge into work. See School Leaver Employment Supports
  • would rather work for yourself. See Microenterprise

We can support you if your NDIS plan is plan-managed or self-managed. We can’t take NDIA-managed plans at the moment. We are not a recruitment agency and we can’t promise you a job, but your mentor will be beside you at every step towards one.

What the Journey Looks Like

Our supports are flexible and led by you. Here is what the journey usually includes, and what your sessions look like at each stage.

Discover and plan

We take the time to get to know you: your skills, your interests and the kind of work you’d like to try. Then we build a clear employment plan together, with small first steps that line up with your NDIS goals.

Get ready

You and your mentor write a resume that shows what you can do, and practise interviews until the questions stop feeling scary. If getting there is the hard part, you practise the bus or train trip together first.

Get the job

Your mentor helps you find roles worth applying for, fill in applications and approach local employers about a trial shift or work experience. If you want, they can come to the interview with you.

Keep the job

Once you’re working, we stay involved. Your mentor can be with you for your first shifts, help you learn the routines and, with your OK, check in with your supervisor. As you settle in, they support you to learn to balance work, life, and everything else.

Need Help Finding Work?

Our Approach

Every person’s path to work is different, so support is tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant. Three things stay the same for everyone.

One mentor, matched to you. We match you on personality, interests and location, and you see their profile before you meet. It’s the same mentor each week, so you never start from scratch.

You set the direction. You choose the kind of work and the pace. We break the goal into small steps, and nobody pushes you into the first job that comes up.

Your whole team in the loop. With your OK, we keep the people around you up to date, whether that’s family, your support coordinator, your employer or an Inclusive Employment Australia provider.

The aim is always a job that fits you, with only as much support as you need.

Looking for a job you enjoy?

This is Aeron's Story

Working with a locally owned business in Perth WA we were able to offer Aeron a supported role where she enjoys interacting with the community and developing her work skills while being paid above-award-wage.

“Getting out on weekends earning money while interacting with the local community is something I really enjoy. By working with Good Company I’ve been able to experience what it’s like to work in open employment.”
