Disability Employment Services in Melbourne

Empowering You to Find Purposeful, Lasting Employment

Anybody who has ever looked for a new job has some horror stories to tell — from hundreds of rejections before you’ve even been offered an interview, to employers ghosting them. But for people living with a disability, there may be extra hurdles to overcome. At Good Company Disability Services, we believe that everyone deserves equal opportunities to feel valued in a rewarding job. That’s why we offer disability employment services in Melbourne to NDIS participants who receive funding for their disability-related needs through the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

Our NDIS employment support services help people living with disabilities become job-ready, find suitable roles, and achieve long-term career success. Whether you’re seeking full or part-time employment, a volunteering opportunity or vocational training, we can help you get in front of hiring managers and training establishments.

What Are Disability Employment Services?

Disability employment services are designed to support people with disabilities who want to explore and gain employment opportunities. These services include career guidance, help with creating a winning resume, interview practice, job matching, and ongoing support once you’re employed.

Our team works with you to understand what you can contribute to a workforce and what you want to achieve on the programme. We also partner with local businesses and employers in Melbourne to help them understand how people with disabilities can be an asset and set up interviews for you.

If you’ve been approved for an NDIS plan and have work-related goals in your plan, you may be eligible for NDIS employment support. If you choose to work with us, we will help you build confidence, learn new skills, and achieve your employment goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Need Help Finding & Keeping Work?

Why Choose Us as Your NDIS-Funded Service Provider?

With many disability support providers around, it can be tough to know which one to work with. Good Company has achieved excellent outcomes for clients since we first started operating in 2019. We’ve achieved this success because we don’t treat our clients as a number; we care about them as a person, first and foremost.

Our aim is to essentially break down barriers to employment and help you lead a more independent and fulfilling life through meaningful work. One way we do this is by educating hiring managers and business owners, so they understand how they can benefit from inclusive hiring practices.

This is Aeron's Story

Working with a locally owned business in Perth WA we were able to offer Aeron a supported role where she enjoys interacting with the community and developing her work skills while being paid above-award-wage.

“Getting out on weekends earning money while interacting with the local community is something I really enjoy. By working with Good Company I’ve been able to experience what it’s like to work in open employment.”
