My Grandchild has been supported by Good Company Disability Services since April 13th 2024. Working with Good Company has been the most wonderful experience. It's like having a group of friends always by my side. The office team, and my lovely mentor Sohaila light up my week! I recommend them to anyone who will listen. 10/5 starsPosted on Lorraine24/02/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I would give The good company 1000 stars, if that were an option! Our son has aspergers and ADD. He has been supported by his schools and some outside support in the past, but he was still unfortunately in the “too hard basket.” He has aspirations of helping his community by being involved in conservation sciences and entomology. These are aspirations that are ambitious but he has the desire to try his best to be an asset and a contribution, in anyway he can. Since joining good company, our son seems to be optimistic and becoming more independent and confident. He looks forward to meeting with his mentors and has been trying to achieve this own personal goals. We can see a massive change in his confidence! He has struggled for employers to keep him on staff because of his challenges. The good company has stepped in as a liaison with his managers to offer support for his employer and for our son.In order, for him to get feedback and support so that he can someday be able to hold employment. So excited for him and we want to thank Good company for all of their support!Posted on Duchess Antoinette04/02/2024Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Good Company has helped me out a lot with rides and communicating with people to find ways to get in stuff done. I like the way everyone is friendly and I want others to know that Good Company is a good company in general. 😊Posted on Josh Rodda Mitchell29/07/2023Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As a support worker, I found a huge gap in the market when it comes to competent employment agencies. Most sit on the fence between employer and employee, going through the motions and doing the bare minimum. Not Good Company Disability Supports! They knew exactly what was missing, what my client required and have the best methods to achieve my clients goals. They definitely have my clients best interests front and centre and have provided wonderful representation. Good Company has filled my client with excitement, positivity and real confidence moving into the future.

Disability Employment Support Services FAQ
NDIS Funded Employment Support includes a range of services designed to help people with disability prepare for, find, and keep a job. Supports can include mentoring, skill-building, job applications, workplace support, and career planning. At Good Company, we tailor these supports to your strengths, interests, and goals.
Yes. We support participants to explore job options that match their abilities and passions. This includes creating resumes, preparing for interviews, and identifying roles in the community that feel meaningful. We walk alongside you from planning and preparation through to settling into work. Securing paid work is not only dependant upon the support you receive, it also depends on other factors such as job availability, any experience or skills you may have, and your level of engagement with employers and the job searching process as a whole.
Employment Assistance helps you get ready to find work — including job search support, applications, and building readiness.
Supports in Employment focus on helping you succeed in your job — including managing tasks, building confidence, and workplace mentoring.
We offer both, depending on your goals and where you're at in your journey.
No, you don’t need to have a job yet. We can start working with you to build capacity, confidence, and readiness. Once you start work, our team can continue providing Supports in Employment to help you adjust, stay on track, and grow.
We are an experienced NDIS provider working with plan-managed and self-managed participants in a range of areas including Employment Support. If you’re unsure whether your NDIS plan includes Employment Support, we can help you review it or speak with your plan manager or Support Coordinator. We currently provide support across Perth and Greater Melbourne. Our team can meet you in the community, at home, online, or wherever works best for you.
Yes, you can work while receiving NDIS funding. The NDIS is not means tested, and your personal income and assets are not a consideration when the NDIA is deciding the level of funding you require to cater for your disability related support needs.
Centrelink, part of Services Australia, oversees the Disability Support Pension, so it's best to get in contact with them to confirm the amount of work you can undertake, or the income you can receive before your DSP is affected. You may be able to earn a specific amount before your DSP is affected, and even if you exceed this level and your DSP is reduced, you still may end up better off financially. We can support you to discuss this with Centrelink as part of the support you receive from us.
