Empowering people with disability in Melbourne to build businesses, share ideas, and grow with confidence.

Entrepreneurship is more than just starting a business—it’s about creativity, resilience, and turning ideas into reality. At Good Company Disability Services, we know that many people living with disability have the passion and talent to succeed in business but need the right environment to learn, connect, and be supported.

Our Entrepreneurs Support Group in Melbourne provides exactly that: a safe, inclusive space where business-minded people come together to share experiences, develop new skills, and find encouragement from peers and mentors.

About the Group

Each week, participants meet to explore what it takes to start and grow a small business, side hustle, or creative project. The sessions are practical and interactive—covering everything from brainstorming ideas and developing business plans through to understanding marketing, finances, and customer service.

What makes this group unique is the balance of learning and community. Members not only gain insights into entrepreneurship but also build lasting networks of support. Many participants find that the encouragement of their peers is just as valuable as the business knowledge itself.

Meet the Group Host – Joshua Bartlett

The Entrepreneurs Support Group is guided by Joshua Bartlett, Director of Good Company Disability Services and a passionate entrepreneur himself. Joshua has firsthand experience in building a business from the ground up and understands both the challenges and rewards that come with pursuing your own ideas.

Having walked the entrepreneurial path, Joshua knows that success doesn’t happen in isolation. He brings this insight to the group by fostering an environment where members can share openly, learn from each other, and develop the confidence to turn ideas into reality.

His leadership style is grounded in inclusivity, respect, and encouragement. With a strong belief that people with disability should have equal access to opportunities in business and innovation, Joshua ensures every participant feels supported to grow in their own unique direction.

Through his lived experience as both a business leader and community advocate, Joshua offers more than just guidance—he brings genuine understanding, practical strategies, and the encouragement to keep moving forward.
