We use this information to assess the referral and match a mentor. Referrals are stored in Australia. Our Privacy Policy explains how to see or correct what we hold.

You can also check out our Code of Conduct, incident, complaints and safeguarding policies.

Tell us a little about the person you're referring, and we'll match them with a mentor who suits their goals and personality. We currently welcome plan-managed and self-managed participants. It takes about 10 minutes, and we'll get back to you within one business day.

Who will call me?

You'll probably hear from Ana.
We're still not sure if she's a better listener, or a better talker.
But she will call you to listen to what you have to say, and (if you haven't already filled out the referral form) she might ask you a LOT of questions about your participant - that's just so we can support them better.
She can also tell you about how we can help your participant achieve their goals.

Questions People Ask

Support coordinators, plan managers, allied health professionals and other providers. Family members and carers can use it too, but the short enquiry form on our Contact page is quicker.

Yes. The participant, or their decision-maker, needs to know about the referral and agree to you sharing their information with us. Please ensure you have confirmed this before you send a referral.

We reply to you within one business day, or contact the participant directly if you’ve asked us to. We talk through their goals and funding, then send a written quote. Once funding is confirmed we match a mentor on personality, interests and location. The participant sees the mentor’s profile, meets them in person and gets a plain-language service agreement before regular sessions start.

Once funding is confirmed, we match a mentor usually within a week for participants who are centrally located. If a referral is urgent, say so on the form or call us, and we’ll tell you honestly what we can do. We are not an emergency or crisis service. If someone is in immediate danger, call 000.

Not at the moment. We can work with participants whose plans are plan-managed or self-managed, because NDIA-managed plans can only be used with registered providers. Like every NDIS provider, registered or not, we are bound by the NDIS Code of Conduct. Not sure how a plan is managed? Call us and we’ll help you check.

In person within about an hour of Perth and across most Melbourne suburbs. We also offer support in Adelaide and Canberra. By phone or video anywhere in Australia.

Our fees follow the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and are claimed from the participant’s plan. Current hourly rates are on our Service Fees page, and we send a written quote before anything starts. [In-person sessions run for at least three hours, and phone or video sessions for at least two.

Yes, if the participant agrees. We check in regularly with the participant and can keep you, their family or anyone else they choose in the loop. We can also write a comprehensive provider report before a plan reassessment or whenever it’s required.

What happens after you refer an ndis participant

  1. We say hello. We get back to you within one business day, then have a relaxed chat with you or the participant about their goals, their interests and how their funding works. We follow up with a written quote to read in your own time. Nothing is locked in.
  2. The mentor match. Once funding is confirmed, we match the participant with a mentor on personality, interests and location, usually within a week if they live in a central location. They see the mentor’s profile first, then meet in person. Family is welcome, and so are you.
  3. Regular sessions. Same mentor, regular times, and a service agreement in plain language. We check in regularly with the participant and, with their agreement, keep you in the loop.
